Sophie Walker Law Clerk

Sophie Walker came to Sandia Family Law in August 2024 as a clerk just months after earning her law degree in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before that, she received her undergraduate degree from Grinnell College in Iowa, and a New Mexico teaching license from the University of New Mexico. For about six years Sophie worked as an educational assistant, then intern teacher, then classroom teacher in Albuquerque schools. At the firm, she takes on any clerical or paralegal tasks assigned to her, and she also drafts various motions for attorney review. Outside of work, Sophie likes to walk and hike, knit, watch movies, ski, and spend time with her friends. When life and work allow, she likes to travel.
